KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Frost Advisory for north and central Texas, including Kaufman County, for Tuesday morning.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Frost Advisory for north and central Texas, including Kaufman County, for Tuesday morning.
The Frost Advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
“Mostly clear skies and light winds will be conducive for frost to develop overnight Monday night into early Tuesday morning,” stated the NWS. “Sensitive outdoor plants may be damaged or killed if left uncovered.”
Overnight lows will mostly be in the 30s.
Later in the week, on Friday, there is a slight chance of thunderstorms generally northeast of a Jacksboro to Centerville line. Severe thunderstorms are not expected at this time, according to the NWS.
