TERRELL, Texas — A GoFundMe campaign was created to benefit a Terrell family whose home and two family vehicles were destroyed in a fire last week.
The fund, started by a co-worker and confirmed to inForney.com by a family member, aims to collect $10,000 — with a quarter of the goal already collected.
Last Wednesday, just before 10 p.m., the Terrell Fire Department and Terrell Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 1800 block of Brookwood Drive in Terrell, Texas.
The York family escaped the fire uninjured.
"Billy is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, he has never met a stranger and always has a kind word," reads the GoFundMe campaign. "All of us at GTI want to do as much as we can to help our coworker, he works hard to provide for his family and we hate that this has happened to them."
