FORNEY, Texas — The intersection of Farm-to-Market (FM) 740 and FM 460 has reopened after an oversized load struck and pulled down several services lines on Sunday evening.
FORNEY, Texas — The intersection of Farm-to-Market (FM) 740 and FM 460 has reopened after an oversized load struck and pulled down several services lines on Sunday evening.
Just before 6 p.m., an oversized load on FM 740 turned south on FM 460 and struck the service lines, pulling several down and across the intersection.
Crews were able to remove the downed lines from the intersection and reopen the roadway just before 7 p.m.
There is an unknown ETA for AT&T and Suddenlink to repair the downed lines and restore service in the immediate area. Its unclear if, and how many, homes are without service.
FM 740 was been closed at Hillside Drive on the east side and near Travis Ranch on the west side. FM 460 was been closed just north of U.S. Highway 80.
