KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Kaufman County has confirmed 216 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in an update on June 1, 2020 — four new confirmations since last Friday's reporting.

199 of those total confirmed cases are presumed recovered, bringing the current presumed active cases to 17, down five from last Friday's reporting and 10 since last Wednesday.

Kaufman County is also reporting a "probable" COVID-19-related death, in addition to the confirmed COVID-19-related death reported in late April.

As of May 30, 2020, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported 2,610 Kaufman County residents have been tested for COVID-19, according to provisional cumulative reporting numbers.
