Officials are advising the public to either text-to-911 or call their local agencies 10-digit emergency lines.
In addition to the Kaufman County Dispatch Center, the Forney Police Department and Terrell Police Department dispatch centers are experiencing intermittent outages.
The 10-digit emergency line for Kaufman County is (469) 376-4500, Forney is (972) 552-3932, and Terrell is (469) 474-2700, according to NCTCOG.
