KAUFMAN, Texas — On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Kaufman Police Department responded to a call about a suspicious circumstance involving a bleeding man in a green pickup in the parking lot of Walmart on the 300 Block of Kings Fort Parkway in Kaufman.
KAUFMAN, Texas — On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Kaufman Police Department responded to a call about a suspicious circumstance involving a bleeding man in a green pickup in the parking lot of Walmart on the 300 Block of Kings Fort Parkway in Kaufman.
Upon arrival, the police, assisted by the Kaufman Fire Department and CareFlite ambulance, discovered the man was deceased. The Kaufman County Precinct #1 Constables office also responded to the incident, helping secure the crime scene perimeter.
The identity of the deceased has not been released as the investigation is still ongoing. The police department is making efforts to locate and inform all family members of the victim.
Justice of the Peace Precinct #1, Judge Mary Bardin, pronounced the man dead at the scene. His body was subsequently transported to the Dallas County Medical Examiners' Office for further examination.
The City of Kaufman Police Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
