FORNEY, Texas — Due to the potential of winter weather overnight, Forney ISD has announced it will have a delayed two hour start on Tuesday, January 16.
Terrell ISD, Kaufman ISD, Kemp ISD, Scurry-Rosser ISD, and Mabank ISD have also announced they will also plan for a delayed 10 AM start time. Buses are planned to run two hours later than normal. Parents should be aware that breakfast will not be available.
Trinity Valley Community College has canceled all classes for Tuesday at all of it's Kaufman County campuses.
Many districts will continue to monitor conditions overnight, making their final decisions on delays or closures early Tuesday morning.
