TERRELL, Texas — A man was injured this afternoon while trimming a tree on Walnut Street in Terell. He was transported to a Dallas hospital via CareFlite.
According to a statement by Terrell Public Information Officer Alison Walker, the man sustained injuries after a limb fell on his head.
“Terrell Fire Dept. received a call at 12:16 p.m. today for an injured person at a residence on Walnut Street. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a man who had sustained injuries when a limb fell on his head while he was cutting a tree,” said Walker.
“CareFlite was called, and the victim was transported to a Dallas hospital with serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.”
