CRANDALL, Texas — A Crandall man who was reported missing in January was found deceased on Friday morning, according to police.
Crandall Police Department Chief Dean Winters tells inForney.com the man was reported missing in January 2017.
Crews working in the area of West Trunk Street located the man’s body in a wooded area on Friday morning and police and firefighters were called to the scene.
Winters says the man’s body was recovered not far from where he was reported missing.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy on Saturday morning and positively identified the body as that of the missing man whose family was notified.
Winters says no foul play is suspected.
