FORNEY, Texas — A missing East Texas boy who was last seen in Forney, Texas, was found safe in New Mexico thanks to the efforts of a pre-school teacher.
Then three-year-old Jordan Lane of Lindale, Texas, was allegedly abducted in Forney, Texas, by his biological mother Kodi Lane on September 17, 2015, for which a felony warrant for custodial interference was issued, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
A pre-school teacher, Melissa Smith, at Red River Valley Charter School in Red River, New Mexico, became suspicious of Lane’s activities and also a change in Jordan’s hair color and notified local authorities, according to the Sangre de Cristo Chronicle.
Jordan Lane was reunited with his family on Saturday, according to KLTV.
