FORNEY, Texas — A Silver Alert issued out of Garland, Texas, was discontinued Wednesday night after family members located 82-year-old Jerry Boone safe in Forney.
FORNEY, Texas — A Silver Alert issued out of Garland, Texas, was discontinued Wednesday night after family members located 82-year-old Jerry Boone safe in Forney.
Around 7:30 p.m., the Garland Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Boone who was reported missing from her home in the 1700 block of Audrey Drive for more than eight hours.
Boone was believed to be driving a black 2006 Chevrolet Equinox.
Family members located Boone and her vehicle in the Lowe’s parking lot in Forney, Texas, behind Chic-Fil-A.
Boone was found safe, uninjured, and was released to her family.
