KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — More than 2,000 Farmers Electric Cooperative (FEC) customers in northern portions of Kaufman County and southern Rockwall and Hunt County are without power Sunday morning.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — More than 2,000 Farmers Electric Cooperative (FEC) customers in northern portions of Kaufman County and southern Rockwall and Hunt County are without power Sunday morning.
The initial outage was reported at approximately 8:46 a.m. and impacted 1,976 customers, according to FEC’s website. A second outage was reported at approximately 10:04 a.m. and impacted another 147 FEC customers.
“Crews are working to determine the cause of the outage and to restore power,” according to FEC in an update at 10:11 a.m.
Power is expected to be restored before noon in the initial outage and by 2 p.m. on the second reported outage, according to their website.
