FORNEY, Texas — No injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle crash on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 in Forney on Friday night.
Just after 11:20 p.m., the Forney Police Department and Forney Fire Department responded to eastbound U.S. Highway 80 just east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 for a chain-reaction crash which resulted in multiple vehicles colliding in what police say is two separate wrecks.
The wrecks forced the closure of the right lane on the highway and the closure of the FM 460 onramp. The highway has since been reopened.
The initial wreck involved an 18-wheeler, among other vehicles.
A wrecker towed at least one vehicle. No injuries were reported.
