FORNEY, Texas — No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle rollover on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 on Wednesday night.
However, one person was injured was injured in a separate wreck on FM 1641 and another was arrested after striking a parked car in Windmill Farms.
The first wreck, involving two vehicles, was reported just before 9 p.m. on FM 1641 in the area of Bradley Circle. One person was injured and transported to an area hospital.
The second wreck, at approximately 9:20 p.m., on Warrington Way in Windmill Farms, involved a vehicle which struck a parked car. The driver was observed by EMS on scene, released, and was taken into custody.
The third wreck came just after 9:30 p.m. and involved a single vehicle which overturned in the slight bend on FM 1641 just north of Nicole Lane and across from ABOX. The driver was uninjured.
FM 1641 was shut down to one lane of alternating traffic and temporarily closed in both directions as the wrecker worked to recover the vehicle from the ditch.
Earlier today, westbound U.S. Highway 80 was closed due to a motorcycle crash. The motorcyclist was injured and transported to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
