KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — No major injuries were reported after a car crashed down a creek embankment on Tuesday morning in Kaufman County.
The crash was reported at approximately 7:35 a.m. in the 8000 block of Farm-to-Market (FM) 2757 in between Overlook Lane and Pecan Oak Lane.
A vehicle traveling northbound on FM 2757 veered off the road and down an approximate 25-foot creek embankment below a bridge.
The Crandall Fire Department, Crandall Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and CareFlite responded to the crash.
No major injuries were reported, according to emergency personnel on scene.
The female driver was reportedly attempting to swat a bug out of the window just prior to the crash.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
