ROSSER, Texas -- No students were aboard a bus when it collided with an 18-wheeler on Monday.
The bus, from Scurry-Rosser ISD, and 18-wheeler collided on State Highway 34 near Farm-to-Market (FM) 2451 in the Rosser area of southern Kaufman County.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to an area hospital as a precaution.
A HAZMAT crew was called to the scene to cleanup approximately 25 gallons of diesel fuel, according to Kaufman County Office of Emergency Management representative Debi Nixon.
Nixon says the bus has been towed from the scene and a heavy-duty wrecker is removing the 18-wheeler.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
