FORNEY, Texas — One person was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a collision with a Forney ISD school bus, which was not occupied by students.
The crash occurred on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 near Monitor Boulevard early Tuesday morning and involved Bus 55 and another vehicle.
The driver of the other vehicle became entrapped in his vehicle and was extricated by firefighters and transported to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, with serious injuries, but non-life threatening injuries.
According to Forney ISD, no students were onboard the bus at the time of the crash but several bus routes were delayed.
