FORNEY, Texas — North Forney High School has announced its homecoming week plans and is seeking community sponsorships for several events. Deadline to register is Aug. 25, see details below.
North Forney High School’s inaugural homecoming parade will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 9 a.m. The parade route will be within Windmill Farms. Specific route details are expected to be released soon.
At the conclusion of the parade, the North Forney Women’s Society will host the second annual Homecoming Extravaganza and Tony Jackson 1-mile fun run.
The Extravaganza will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will feature vendor booths, food, games, live music, entertainment, and representation from north side campus booster clubs.
Proceeds from Tony Jackson 1-mile fun run will benefit the Tony Jackson Scholarship Fund which benefits your and graduates of North Forney High School.
The campus will hold Spirit Week dress days from Sept. 11-15.
Spirit Night will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at North Forney High School with a tailgate and cookout.
The North Forney High School football team will host Spruce on Friday, September 15, 2017, at City Bank Stadium for their homecoming matchup.
The Homecoming Dance rounds off the homecoming week on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at North Forney High School from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m.
