FORNEY, Texas — One person has been airlifted following a major crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 740 on Monday night.
At approximately 6:50 p.m., the Forney Fire Department and Forney Police Department responded to FM 740 at the north end of Redbud Drive for a reported two-vehicle crash.
One person was airlifted by a CareFlite medical helicopter to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.
A street light pole was struck by one of the vehicle's involved in the crash and snapped in half.
FM 740 was temporarily closed in the area while emergency personnel landed a helicopter on the road and worked the crash scene.
