One airlifted from motorcycle crash on FM 148

TALTY, Texas — One person was airlifted from a motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 on Wednesday night.

TALTY, Texas — One person was airlifted from a motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 on Wednesday night.

The crash was reported just before 8:30 p.m. on FM 148 across from the Talty Baptist Church in between FM 2932 and County Road 262.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.

The motorcyclist was taken by CareFlite medical helicopter to Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.

FM 148 was temporarily closed while the helicopter landed in the nearby church parking lot and later transported the motorcyclist.

The Crandall Fire Department, Talty Police Department, and Kaufman County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office also responded to the crash.
