One airlifted, two others injured in motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 80

ELMO, Texas — One person was airlifted and two others were injured in a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 80 on Monday night.

ELMO, Texas — One person was airlifted and two others were injured in a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 80 on Monday night.

A vehicle reportedly rear-ended a motorcycle on U.S. Highway 80 in Elmo, Texas, near Farm-to-Market (FM) 2728.

The motorcyclist was transported by CareFlite medical helicopter to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.

Two people from the vehicle were transported by ambulance to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman, Texas.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.

The Elmo Volunteer Fire Department, CareFlite, Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash.
