FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 80 in Forney on Monday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., the Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and CareFlite responded to the crash on U.S. Highway 80 between Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 and County Road 212.
The vehicle involved was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 80 when it struck the center median cable, overturned several times, crossed over the median, and came to a rest on eastbound U.S. Highway 80.
The driver was taken by CareFlite ambulance to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
The Forney Police Department is investigating the crash.
Just after 7 a.m., a wrecker removed the vehicle from the roadway and all emergency personnel cleared the scene.
