FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured Wednesday morning following a rollover crash on westbound U.S. Highway 80 which forced the closure of one lane just west of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460.
FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured Wednesday morning following a rollover crash on westbound U.S. Highway 80 which forced the closure of one lane just west of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460.
The crash was reported just before 11 a.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 just west of FM 460.
A pickup truck overturned and came to a rest on its wheels. The driver of the truck was transported by CareFlite ambulance to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, CareFlite, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
As of 11:15 a.m., a wrecker is on scene working to clear the truck off the north shoulder of the highway. The right lane remains closed.
