One injured in rollover crash near Crandall

CRANDALL, Texas — One person was injured Monday morning in a rollover crash near Crandall.

CRANDALL, Texas — One person was injured Monday morning in a rollover crash near Crandall.

The crash was reported after 9 a.m. off Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 and Venner Circle just north of U.S. Highway 175 and Crandall.

A vehicle traveling southbound on FM 741, for yet to be determined reasons, failed to navigate a curve in the road, crashed through a barbed-wire fence, and overturned several times while striking another portion of the fence.

One person was transported to a Dallas-area hospital in unknown condition.

The Crandall Fire Department, Crandall Police Department, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, CareFlite, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
