FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured Tuesday morning following a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 80.

FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured Tuesday morning following a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 80.

The crash was reported at approximately 5:40 a.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 just before the Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 onramp. A passerby saw the motorcycle in the ditch between the FM 460 onramp and the highway.

The right lane of westbound U.S. Highway 80 was closed while emergency personnel were on scene. It was reopened at approximately 6:04 a.m.

The motorcyclist was transported by CareFlite ambulance to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, with unknown injuries.
