One injured in Wednesday night rollover crash in Forney

FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured in a rollover crash on Wednesday night in Forney.

FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured in a rollover crash on Wednesday night in Forney.

Just before 8 p.m., the Forney Fire Department and Forney Police Department responded to the crash on the south service road of U.S. Highway 80 just west of the Windmill Farms Boulevard overpass.

The pickup truck involved in the crash reportedly exited Windmill Farms Boulevard, crossed over the south service road, and overturned into a tree line on the shoulder of the service road. The truck came to a rest on its roof.

One person was transported by CareFlite ambulance to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.

The right lane of the service road is closed while a wrecker works to upright and recover the truck.

The Forney Police Department is investigating the crash.
