FORNEY, Texas — A two-vehicle wreck involving an 18-wheeler is causing rush-hour delays on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 in Forney on Tuesday.
The wreck was reported at approximately 4:15 p.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 just east of Lovers Lane and is blocking the right lane of the highway.
The 18-wheeler and a van collided with both showing damage on their sides.
The driver of the van was transported to Baylor, Scott & White hospital in Forney in unknown condition.
The 18-wheeler drove from the scene and a wrecker towed the van.
The Forney Police Department is investigating the crash.
