KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — One person was seriously injured and airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital following a motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 429 in eastern Kaufman County on Saturday afternoon.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — One person was seriously injured and airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital following a motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 429 in eastern Kaufman County on Saturday afternoon.
The crash was reported at approximately 6 p.m. on FM 429 at County Road 131 — approximately a mile and a half south of Interstate 20.
The motorcyclist, who was reportedly not wearing a helmet, was flown by CareFlite medical helicopter to a Dallas-area hospital with serious injuries. FM 429 was briefly closed to land the helicopter on the roadway.
The College Mound Volunteer Fire Department, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash which involved a truck and the motorcycle.
