KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A police chase of a motorcycle in Kaufman County on Friday night ended in a crash, sending one to a Dallas-area hospital by helicopter.
The chase ended at approximately 9:15 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 20 near Hiram Road and mile marker 509.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle, seriously injured, and airlifted to a Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Its unknown at this time what led to the pursuit.
Police have not identified the motorcyclist.
The Elmo Fire Department and CareFlite responded to the scene of the crash.
