FORNEY, Texas — A portion of East Malloy Bridge Road in between Forney and Seagoville will be closed for approximately 36 days while crews work to rebuild the road.
The road closed earlier today, Monday, March 18, 2019, and is expected to remain closed until April 22, 2019, weather permitting.
The project to rebuild the road consists of just over a mile stretch of East Malloy Bridge Road at a cost of $602,000, according to the City of Seagoville.
The road will be closed to through traffic during construction and traffic will be diverted onto Farm-to-Market (FM) 2757 to FM 741 to U.S. Highway 175.
