TALTY, Texas — A portion of southbound Farm-to-Market (FM) 2932 is closed for pavement and shoulder reconstruction.

TALTY, Texas — A portion of southbound Farm-to-Market (FM) 2932 is closed for pavement and shoulder reconstruction.

Southbound FM 2932 is closed between Interstate 20 and FM 148 in the Talty area. Traffic is being detoured onto FM 1641, to FM 148, and back northbound on FM 2932.

The $4 million contract was awarded to Oldcastle Materials Texas, Inc. in March 2017. The complete project will span the entire length of FM 2932 from FM 741 just south of Forney to FM 148.

Crews will transition to the northbound lane once complete on the southbound side of the roadway.
