FORNEY, Texas — Prairie Lakes Lane will be closed to thru traffic next week, according to a notice from Kaufman County Precinct 2 Commissioner Skeet Phillips’ office.
Only local traffic will be permitted on Prairie Lake Lane, which is located in the Highland Prairie neighborhood off Helms Trail and County Road 212, once construction to repair culverts begins next week.
“Prairie Lakes will be closed to all but local traffic starting Monday, August 29th, thru Wednesday, September 7th, for culvert repair,” stated the notice.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this road closure my cause,” stated the notice.
