CRANDALL, Texas — Approximately 500 acres of wetlands grass is targeted in a prescribed burn near Crandall today.
The prescribed burn is generally located west of Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 and north of U.S. Highway 175, near the East Fork Trinity River.
Crandall Fire Department Chief Allen Cousins says the wind conditions are favorable for a quick prescribed burn and firefighters are standing by with the property owner as the burn is conducted.
