FORNEY, Texas — The City of Forney will host a public meeting for residents who will be affected by upcoming Redbud Drive construction project.
The meeting will be held November 3, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. at the Criswell Elementary School cafeteria located at 401 North Farm-to-Market (FM) 740.
“A team of engineers from Criado & Associates, along with representatives from the City of Forney will be on hand to discuss the traffic control plans, as well as provide a general overview of each planned project phase,” according to the City of Forney.
The project manager will also be available for a question and answer session.
The Redbud Drive project will include 3,000 feet of concrete road replacement between Pinson Road and Farm-to-Market (FM) 740 and will include an underground drainage system and sidewalks. The existing cast-iron water line and existing clay-tile sewer line will be replaced with eight-inch PVC.
