TERRELL, Texas — A Quinlan man was killed in a rollover crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 429 in Terrell early Sunday morning.
Sometime just after 1 a.m., Terrell police say 22-year-old Jamey Deweese of Quinlan, Texas, was driving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra in the 500 block of FM 429 North when the vehicle left the roadway.
As the vehicle left the roadway, it began to overturn, as Deweese attempted to correct the vehicle and get back on the roadway, police say the rear passenger side tire broke from the vehicle — causing the vehicle to overturn.
Deweese was pronounced deceased at the scene by Kaufman County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Johnny Adams.
