KAUFMAN, Texas — Drivers in Kaufman should plan or a road closure and traffic pattern change in Kaufman on Thursday, June 30, 2016, according to a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) notice to the City of Kaufman.
TxDOT will close the westbound State Highway (SH) 34 ramp on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., according to the notice posted by the city. The closure is necessary to pave the north service in front of the Chevy dealership.
“Traffic will be able to utilize the exit ramps at 1388 and 243 to access the city and maneuver around to get back on 34,” according to the notice.
Traffic at three-way intersection at SH 243 and SH 34 will undergo a pattern change as it transitions to the phase three configuration between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
“We will utilize flaggers to control traffic at the intersection. Be prepared for delays in and around this area,” stated the notice.
