FORNEY, Texas — An overturned Jeep is causing delays Sunday evening on westbound U.S. Highway 80 near the Kaufman-Dallas County line.
The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80, east of Lawson and the county line. The Jeep overturned and landed top-down in a culvert in between the highway and north service road.
The driver was reportedly taken by another motorist to an area hospital.
As of 5:28 p.m., the right lane of westbound U.S. Highway 80 remains closed.
The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Forney Fire Department resounded to the crash.
