-Never use an oven or gas stovetop to heat your home.
-Protect natural gas meters – Clear snow and ice with a broom, never use hard objects.
-Keep external vents clear – Blocked vents can lead to dangerous carbon monoxide buildup.
-Prevent frozen pipes – Leave faucets running at a trickle, open cabinet doors, and keep windows and doors closed.
-Save energy – Set your thermostat to 68°F during the day and 58°F at night (when safe).
-Smell gas? Act fast! Leave the area immediately and from a safe distance call 911 and Atmos Energy's emergency line at 866.322.8667.

According to the National Weather Service, the most significant risk of travel impacts this coming week appears to be in Central Texas, with a forecasted 30% chance. In North Texas, the forecasted chance of travel impacts is 10%.
