FORNEY, Texas — The search for a missing 50-year-old fisherman continues Friday morning on Lake Ray Hubbard.
The man, identified as Mark Jordan of Rockwall County, reportedly went fishing Wednesday night and, when he failed to return home, was reported missing by relatives on Thursday morning.
Dallas Fire-Rescue and Texas Game Wardens continue the search for Jordan on Friday morning after the search was called off late Thursday due to extremely windy conditions.
Jordan’s boat was found capsized approximately half-a-mile south of the Texas Highway 66 bridge and his pickup truck and trailer were located at a nearby boat ramp.
Rescue crews will utilize sonar equipment and a ground search today in their efforts to find Jordan.
