CRANDALL, Texas — Several fire departments responded to and extinguished a Crandall-area structure fire late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
Just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, the Crandall Fire Department was dispatched to the structure fire in the 4000 block of Joy Lane, which is located off Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 in between Crandall and Talty.
Mutual aid was requested from the Forney Fire Department, Kaufman Fire Department, and the Seagoville Fire Department.
A mother and a child with special needs were displaced due to the fire, according to fire officials. No injuries were reported.
