KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A dryline and cold front will bring a chance of severe storms Tuesday afternoon and overnight, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas.
“As a dry line and cold front approach, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms,” stated the NWS. “Some strong to severe storms are possible late this afternoon through tonight mainly east of a Sherman to Waxahachie to Killeen line.”
Kaufman County is included in the area which may see severe weather.
The severe weather threats include damaging winds, a few tornadoes, and heavy rain that may lead to flash flooding, according to the NWS.
