KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of Kaufman County until 8:15 p.m. and a Flood Advisory until 10:15 p.m..
At 6:36 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Cottonwood, or 10 miles south of Kaufman, moving north at 10 miles per hour, according to the NWS.
Hazards with this storm include 60 mile per hour wind gusts and quarter size hail. Flash flooding may also be possible.
Locations impacted include Kaufman, Crandall, Kemp, Grays Prairie, Cottonwood, Oak Grove, Post
Oak Bend City, Rosser, and Oak Ridge.
