KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch and Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Kaufman County on Sunday.
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 10 p.m.
The Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for portions of northeastern Kaufman County until 4:15 p.m. for storms capable of producing quarter-size hail.
Additionally, a Significant Weather Advisory was issued for portions of Kaufman County for a strong thunderstorms over Crandall, as indicated by Doppler radar at 3:22 p.m., moving east at 40 miles per hour.
Nickel size hail and winds up to 40 miles per hour are possible, according to the NWS.
