KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of North Texas, including Kaufman County, until 11 p.m. on Monday.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of North Texas, including Kaufman County, until 11 p.m. on Monday.
The main hazards from storms on Monday are large hail and strong winds, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, according to the NWS.
There is also a risk for have rainfall from thunderstorms which is expected to lead to flash flooding. A Flash Flooding Watch has been issued for counties south of Kaufman County.
Thunderstorm chances continue overnight into Tuesday.
