SCURRY, Texas — Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office officials say that they do not suspect foul play was involved in the death of a Scurry man who was found on Thursday morning.
KCSO spokesperson Jolie Stewart tells inForney.com that after an investigation by KCSO deputies and the Texas Rangers, they found no signs of foul play and it appears to be a natural death.
At approximately 11:20 AM Thursday morning KCSO deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of County Road 4091 to respond to an unattended death after receiving a 911 call from a neighbor.
Authorities found 77-year-old Jimmy Babovec of Scurry deceased upon arrival.
The man’s body was transported to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office pending an autopsy according to authorities.
