Forney, TX - Forney Police are clearing from the area of Bowie Street and Meadow Lane after responding to a shots fired call overnight. Following an investigation, it is believed that this was an isolated event and that the second suspect is no longer in the area. Authorities have stated that there does not appear to be a safety threat in the vicinity at this time, and the Forney Police will continue to monitor the situation closely.
The Forney Police department expressed gratitude towards the residents in the area for their patience and vigilance during the investigation.
Initially, Forney Police responded to the scene where one individual has been detained. Officers were actively searching for a second person connected to the incident, resulting in a heightened police presence in the area.
