FORNEY, Texas -- Southbound Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 will experience lane closures over the next 30 days, weather permitting, during specified construction times, according to the City of Forney.
FORNEY, Texas -- Southbound Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 will experience lane closures over the next 30 days, weather permitting, during specified construction times, according to the City of Forney.
The construction will close the southbound right lane of FM 548 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to allow contractors to construct and pave a turn lane. Construction has also been authorized for the weekend during the same working hours.
"The hope is that with this construction time slot and the removal of the barricades, the hindrance on traffic during peak hours will be kept at a minimum," stated the City of Forney. "Construction is expected to last 30 days, weather permitting."
