TERRELL, Texas — SPUR 557 and the Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 overpass at SPUR 557 will be closed two nights this week for bridge construction.
Construction crews will close SPUR 557 and the adjoining FM 148 overpass from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019, and Saturday, April 13, 2019.
The closures are necessary for crews to set bridge girders.
During the closures, the following detours will be in place:
• Spur 557 traffic will be detoured to the frontage road.
• Southbound FM 148 traffic will detour to Apache trail, to Las Lomas Parkway, to the Spur 557 frontage road to the south side of Spur 557.
• Northbound FM 148 traffic will detour to I-20 or Spur 557 to the Rose Hill exit and will cross Spur 557 to the frontage road back west to FM 148 north.
