FORNEY, Texas – Kaufman county resident and adult film star Stormy Daniels, will soon be single again.
Daniel’s husband, Glendon Crain filed a petition for divorce on July 18 in Kaufman county district court.
According to court records, the 13 page divorce petition alleges that Stephanie Clifford – Daniel’s legal name – committed adultery and seeks sole custody of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter. Crain is also looking for child support and a disproportionate share of the couple’s join property.
The husband is being represented by attorney R.B. Pool of Terrell. The first hearing for a temporary restraining order will be held before 86th District Judge Casey Blair on Friday, July 27 at 9 AM.
Clifford’s attorney, Michael Avenatti tweeted that the performer is vehemently disputing the accuracy of the filing.
Avenatti also said Clifford is asking for privacy. “My client Stormy Daniels and her husband Glen have decided to end their marriage,” Avenatti began in his tweet. “A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed,” He continued. “Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family.”
