KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — An approaching strong cold front will bring mid-20-degree temperatures and even lower wind chills to Kaufman County overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
"Temperatures will fall into the mid 20s to near 30 degrees areawide overnight tonight," states the National Weather Service. "North winds 15 to 25 mph will result in wind chills near 20 degrees by early Tuesday morning."
A weather product released earlier today indicates Kaufman County can expect temperatures in the area of 28 degrees, while areas north will see lower temperatures.
Residents can also expect wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Wind chills will drop into the teens and 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
